Lead What You Truly Believe In:
Align your mission with what moves you — and move others with it.

"Vision sets the course. Mission maps the route. But it’s conviction that starts the engine."

We talk a lot about vision and mission.

And yet, we often forget the most important part: conviction.

The kind that lives deep inside us.
The kind you can’t copy-paste from another company.
The kind that doesn’t need a benchmark to exist.

Without conviction, vision is just a sentence. With it, it becomes a direction worth following.
Real leadership starts there:
By daring to name what truly moves you.
By standing for something — even if it shakes things up.

So before refining your message, ask yourself:
What am I no longer willing to accept? And what do I believe in enough to lead with it?

That’s where it all begins.

Introducing the Conviction · Vision · Mission Canvas

The Conviction · Vision · Mission Canvas is a two-part tool designed to help individuals clarify what drives them, what change they want to bring to the world, and how they’ll make it happen. It's both a self-reflection tool and a strategic map to align your purpose with your career and life choices.

Whether you're at a professional crossroads or just seeking deeper alignment, this methodology offers a structured yet creative way to design a meaningful path forward.

How It Works: A Step-by-Step Guide

This part helps you define the “what”, the “why”, and the “how” of your purpose.

  1. Start with YOU
    • This is your entry point. Anchor yourself in the present moment before diving into the deeper layers.
  2. Clarify your Vision
    • Ask yourself: What is the change I want to see in the world?
    • Think big and long-term. What does a better world look like to you?
  3. Define your Conviction
    • Reflect on: Why is that change important to me?
    • This is your inner fire — the personal belief, experience, or value that fuels your desire for this change.
  4. Outline your Mission
    • Consider: What will I do to make that change happen?
    • This is your contribution — the specific actions, roles, or efforts you’ll undertake to bring your vision to life.

From Purpose to Strategy

Once you've defined your Conviction, Vision, and Mission, everything becomes clearer — from your communication style to your career direction.

It creates a solid foundation to shape the right strategy for your business, your digital presence, or even your personal life.

Instead of chasing trends or reacting to pressure, you can make decisions that truly align with who you are and what you stand for.

Now that you've mapped your purpose, it's time to connect it to your real life.

  1. Evaluate Your Current Situation
    • Use the “AS IS” section to reflect honestly on where you are today.
    • Include both internal (skills, mindset) and external (job, relationships) factors.
  2. Set Milestones
    • Break down your journey into three timeframes:
      • Tomorrow: What's one immediate step you can take?
      • In 6 Months: What changes or progress would you like to see?
      • In a Year: What's your longer-term goal?
  3. Map Your Skills
    • Fill in your Soft Skills and Hard Skills. Be specific — this helps you see your assets clearly.
  4. Craft Your Value Proposition
    • Combine your skills with your conviction and vision. What do you offer to the world?
  5. Identify Your Profile(s)
    • Are you a Leader & Storyteller? A Designer & Maker? A Connector & Convener? A System Thinker?
    • You can be more than one — pick those that resonate most with your strengths and ambitions.
    • This step also helps you recognize whether you're surrounded by complementary profiles.
Maybe someone on your team naturally takes on a role you don’t — and that’s a strength.
Identifying these dynamics can make your collaborations more balanced and effective.
  6. Acknowledge Fears, Gaps, and Assets
    • For each time frame, reflect on:
      • What you already have
      • What you’re missing
      • What fears might get in your way
    • This helps you anticipate challenges and build resilience.
